You're Not A King

You're Not A King

A Poem by Faith Almazan

You're a fake
You're a fraud
You're a vision gone wrong.
Like an out of tune song
We all cringe when you sing-a-long.
What a contrived demeanor
You deprived dreamer.
Unorganized schemer.
Disguised creature
of the streets
Fooling everyone you meet
Saying you're a rapper with your beats
But writing is clearly your defeat.
F*****g record on repeat.
You're synonymous with deceit.
You will never be complete
Your name will soon be obsolete.

Wait, you were never known to begin with.
You flow less than my damn period.
You have no gifts like Santa on boxing day.
All your rifts are caused by your toxic way.

Expression. I resonate with this one deeply. Makes me long for a chance to explain to someone, how sorry I am for running... When I could have been a man... Super deep.

Violent, aggressive, brutal and honest with a flow to match. The brevity of each line allows the whole thing to weave itself together well wrote.
