A Poem by Faith Almazan

I think of you when I'm alone,

And I wonder from time to time,

What it would've been like to have known you.

Maybe we did in another life.

Maybe you were crazy about me.

Maybe I was crazy for you, too.

Maybe I laughed like a hyena

At all those voices that you do.

We could have been in love before.

But in this life we haven't touched.

You're undeniably magnetic.

Is it sick to want your love this much?

This is all hypothetical, but it's nice to dream

of a past life when we loved 'til death did defeat.

Our love was too grand, it can't ever be.

I'm saddened in this life we won't ever meet.
