Look Upon.

Look Upon.

A Poem by Omar
"

This piece illustrates the pain of longing for that one soul that could bring solace to my soul. The yearning whilst relentlessly searching and then the end of searching and finding my Soul Mate.

"
Look upon these eyes that search relentlessly for you.
Look upon these lips that pucker eagerly awaiting your kiss,
Look upon these hands as they twictch endlessly for your touch,
Look upon these feet for they have walked tirelessly to get to you,
Look into my soul that now heals because finally, it has found you.

Look upon the night sky , that is all the stars I wished upon for you,
Look upon the ocean, that is all the tears that have cascaded because none of them were ever you,
Now look upon this body of mine, see how every inch aches for you,
Notice the scars I've acquired battling through for you,
For you,
You are all I desire,
Your love,
All that I require.

Look upon these words as they tell the story of the time without you,
The longing, the aching, the sorrow and relentless heartbreak which arose by looking for you in others.
You,
And only you can soothe my soul and bring about what once was,
An eden on earth.

My darling,
Look upon this world, do we belong?
You are a flame, ignition to my soul for without you; survival in this world seemed bleak and my power weak.

Look upon you,
Look upon me,
Look upon....
We.
