I have nothing to give-

Nothing to offer

 

Dreams are life-

The real world is tougher

 

Don’t think I’m cruel-

You have a buffer

 

I live in one world-

And you in another

 

Some things don’t change-

They say why bother

 

To which I reply-

Not for you but the others
