indestructibleA Poem by Jordan Elizabetheven to the trained eye this heart appears seemingly.. indestructible. it wears the armor of a smile a loud laugh and a perfectly ironed floral patterned dress. sure, some flaws are clear. a dent here and there. a scratch down the side. but nothing looks bent out of shape or fractured. that is until a series of serious tests are run. when the results are read aloud (to these trained eyes) an air of shock fills the room. overwhelming internal bleeding, drowning the stubborn hope in the existence of love is the final diagnosis for this seemingly indestructible heart. © 2011 Jordan ElizabethAuthor's Note
