The price he paidA Poem by LVW
You might think me naive when I say that I know you
you would laugh and point and call me a fool. I might not know the specifics of your struggle or what you have been through but I know there was nights you sat alone in that stool cursing at the ceiling and said God where the f**k are you. I know how bitter those tears tasted when they fell and how tired your mind was of drowning in the well I know how you searched for a reason to stay thinking that the bottle is the only reason to still pray I know that you thought that your time here was done that you lifted up the banner because your demons have finally won you kicked and screamed because what else can you do saying this is the reason I left that damn pew you started to cut just to feel something inside to fill the empty hole he use to abide you called and you called but he left you alone he's not God you said his cover was blown as the Cuts was getting deeper you could feel the end but all of a sudden your mind was unbend you dropped the blade and went to bed I'm to tired for this you said but what you do not know is that God was there that night you put down that knife because he won the fight and in that moment he slayed your demons he started cutting the ties of your reasons see God knew that the battle was hard he saw the pain stretched over your heart but he never left you make no mistake that was a lie sold by that stupid snake when he showed up your demons fled get away, they are mine he said you will not win this war because I love this child even though sometimes they drive me wild and even though they will wake up saying I'm not real I will leave them with my loving seal you will not win and I'll keep them alive until one day their love for me will revive I'll wait for the damage you have done to fade and they will remember once again the price that I paid their soul is mine and I will fight for them and one day they will see just how much I love them.
