A World Without LightningA Poem by Laura
I once compared us to a storm A storm that strikes throughout the life of a tree weakening it's branches always leaving a touch of regret from summers passed the leaves no longer drift and swim with the wind they lay cold and frozen coveted by a canvas of white
Yet I would rather survive that storm And I would rather endure the icy fear of that winter Than to ever know a world without lightning © 2008 Laura |
