Normalcy PrecinctA Poem by Scarecrow NovemberFor Krissi.Pain staking aggravation, memories now erased. When I said “I do”, I didn’t expect it’d be a waste. “Till death do us part”, I took an oath and enveloped defeat. A wild horse sanctuary, freedom from a tragic feat. Papers served, Hell, here I come. Fires are blazing, this torture will not succumb. Nor will I in this battle arise, I’ll not surrender at your feet. My curtain call ending, will leave you cowering in your seat. Contentment candy, proceed without a halt. No matter how you twist the tale, we are both at fault. Moving on, starting anew. Life is waiting for me without you. New beginnings lacking the disguise, every star shines the brightest when there is darkness in their skies. © 2011 Scarecrow NovemberAuthor's Note
