You Don't Know

You Don't Know

A Poem by I Am Alexis
"

this a poem I randomly wrote in class... turned out better than I thought :D

"
I met his gaze once again,
His eyes were so familiar,
He smiled down at me,
and again my heart flutters.

You'd call me cliche,
You'd say I don't know,
You say I can't be serious,
But you don't know me.

You don't know him either,
You see him on the surface,
But you don't see his heart,
So how can you judge something you know so little about?

It's easy to say I'm a typical teenager,
That I can't think or act maturely,
But does your heart really change?
Do you ever lose your teenage heart?

Now I'm not sure,
What to think or what's real,
But the way I see it,
It's not for you to judge.

Because you don't know me,
And you don't know him,
You don't know,
US.
