ripped and broken

It's emotionally charged. I can feel the anguish. The question that I have is who tore the heart? If the writer is waiting for someone to return to them, why would they when they had caused them so much pain?

The line 'nothing is left of me', again makes me wonder if this relationship is unhealthy as when you lose yourself you have nothing left in this world. Some people talk of thinking with the heart or the head, which is really the rational or irrational, a way of circumventing logic and disowning their own role in something.

Overall you have a very strong voice and may have posed yourself some questions that your subconscious has been asking.
