Today i have decided to begin keeping a journal once again. I havent been able to keep a journal in a while but I feel it helps me cope with things that are going on in my life and helps me reflect on

well Yesterday we finally got power back in my house. It had been out for about 3 days and my family and I stayed with my aunt. Personally I dont think it was a very good idea on my mothers part to have all of us crammed into the small 3 bedroom house out in the country that she and my uncle live in. Also my aunts dogs tend to feel like they must alert the whole neighborhood when one of my sisters or I walk across the floor into the kitchen or to one of the other rooms but lets get back to what has been going on today.

Today is veteran's day. Today is one of the very few holidays that we take time out of our lives and think about someone other then ourselves. We use this day to commemorate soldiers lost in the war or in past wars and to honor the ones that we are lucky enough to still have with us here. So In this journal I personally would like to thank all the men and women that are currently serving or have served our country. I would also like to thank the soldiers that are no longer with us. Thank you for giving your lives so that people all across our nation can have the freedoms that we have here and the security that we are allowed. Thank you to all the veterans that have made our nation what it is today.
