You are like the sun
but it always seems to rain around here 
I am like the moon
reflecting your glow when the nights are clear
You are the joy
that makes me lose my fear
I am the pain
that keeps us from coming near
Our love is the faith
that we hold on to so dear
Our fight was the hate
that love had to mirror
You are like the sun
and the sky is cloudy this year 
I am like the moon
wishing for you to reappear
