Lost Where I Belonged

Lost Where I Belonged

A Poem by Lexi Richard

Lately I
Have come to hate
The days without the sun
I'm tired of dwelling amongst the rain
And darkness I've grown to love

I used to crave
The misty days
Thick with fog and dew
I once was closed off on my own
With a head of blue

Now I see,
At almost eighteen,
Where I had gone wrong,
While I was wallowing in my thoughts
I lost where I belonged
