UglyA Poem by Lexi Richard
With pen and ink
I can turn my pain to poetry I can write that what you did was love not misery I can lie and say you loved with kisses and never fists I can say my heart is fine without bruises or slits I can lie that you were sweet fluent with flattery I can say that I never ached because of your cruelty I can say so many words like tulips and daffodils I can say you had sugary words even though they killed -l.r.
