UrbanA Poem by Lexi Richardi dream a dream of urban life, bagel shops and Manhattan nights dirty sidewalks and gritty streets Chicago sunrise with coffee a place where no one knows my name to clear my mind i'll ride the train anonymous, i'll live a lie living for those city nights I'll be watching as rain pours down spilling on the Boston ground fog will rise in steamy swirls from the pavement, black as coals In the city, love is what i'll find with the jagged high skyline, in sweet Seattle, my heart will burn, my mind so clear, without concerns I'll become an angel in California self sufficient, full of euphoria i'll feel like urban royalty city life so good, it's poetry -l.r. © 2015 Lexi RichardReviews
