Beauty of darkness

Beauty of darkness

A Poem by Alexis Markum
"

this poem is about a girl who embraces her emotions and realizes that no matter what a persons life is like deep down there is always something that is wrong. they can either embrace it or deny it.

"
She stands with her hood up hair down shades on in all black and once gone ain't coming back. she gives up. she's lost it all she shouts "I shall fall" she lowers her head and hits her knees. she slowly whispers "I've gave my all now i am done. take me away and let me be. Light for you have broken me tore me and scared me for all to see.Now go away and let me be." the light fades and turns away. hopefully never to return again. the darkness comes and with it comes peace. it wraps around her like a invisible cloak. she closes her eyes and when she opens them again she's in her dark quite place a graveyard. a beautiful place where the lost souls linger. For no one comes to just sit. no one understands it's true beauty. people think it's a sad creepy place . she knows the beauty of the darkness in both places and people. she notices because she spends so much of her time in the darkness even when there is light all around. people are simple. happy people aren't really happy they are no different from the goths depressed or suicidal people. the people who keep to themselves are the ones who are less depressed and have less problems because they face their problems therefore they are no longer there . she sits with her hood up hair down shades on and tears streaming down her cheeks onto the ground
