Repair a mistake

Almost as if everything was the same,
She goes to sleep with the biggest smile on her face.
Someone had tooken some of her pain
And made it theirs.

But as she lives on her life,
Nothing will ever seem the same as it had.
Still, there is so much she needs to work on
And now,
So many reasons for her to live on.

Her escape can be lovely
And precious
And doesn't hurt her, ever.

But she still remembers all those sleepless nights
And the moments when she would draw her feelings on her skin.
And of corse, everyday when she had to hide all her feelings,
Even that beautiful smile that is starting to reappear.

That monster stuck in the back of her mind
Is loosing its own battle now.
Not winning it like it used to.

For her,
This is considered a new start
And how the bad is loosing against the good.
Her life is fresh and new.
And the angel in her,
Is starting to brighten.
