Caught up in The Moment

Caught up in The Moment

A Poem by Alexis

She lay in a ball,
her sleeves drowning in tears,
her wrists painted red.

She was trapped in her own mind,
with fields of white stretching forever.

No one knew where she was,
for on one knew how to help her.
Her surroundings
reflected her feelings.

Time remained frozen,
as she was tripped up in a thought.
"Who am I?"
was written all over her face.

She lay in a ball,
broken to pieces.
Her sleeves drowned in tears,
her wrists painted red.
