Civil War of It's Own

Civil War of It's Own

A Poem by Alexis
"

A mind can be easily manipulated; be careful

"
They say, the world began 4 billion years ago,
but mine just started.
I do not accompany many newcomers in my world,
-for they are scared of new times.

My world,
has in fact crashed into another,
but it left my core damaged,
and crumbling down to pieces.

My world has been in battle,
with itself - if you must say,
for many years now.
This war is a war where no side will win,
but both fight for what it believes in.

My world can be easily tricked,
for I taught it to only trust itself.
My world is crashing down before my eyes, as I speak now,
so I try to make my world known to others,
for it has little time left in it's place.

Your world has been introduced quite nicely.

I heard that I did! Let the new and old fall together, A lot history that's been forgotten, But you give it grace already see that no worries:)

Beautifully written. I can relate to this piece. Opening up is rather hard at first, us being prone to betrayal of the heart and mind.

Good Work
