Sushi

Sushi

A Poem by levi
"

My poem inspired by Sushi

"

 Conveyor belts,

they slowly pass me by.

I sit in the booth,

wondering if I should satisfy my sweet tooth.

But instead, I go for sushi.

Delicious and tasty,

is the spicy tuna.

I love it’s taste,

gives me no haste.

So I gobble it up,

until I am full,

to the top.

Laden with sushi,

is me.

Upon the table are plates piled high.

I feel as if they reach all the way up,

to the sky.

Sushi is what I truly love,

when I am unsure,

it gives me that good old shove.

Hey, if god wanted us to eat raw fish he wouldn't have invented the frying pan. lol

Got to admit, this is the first poem I've ever read about sushi. The words are good, but I sense a flow problem. It feels like the breaks should be different in a couple of places. I'll read it a couple more times later and see if it feels the same way and let you know.

SUSHI is a funny word. Ever notice that? I personally don't like sushi, but if ya do, go for it. COnstructive critiscm alert: Poems don't have to rhyme. Few of my do. All in all, good job!
