A Shadow

                        You pretend not to see me

You act as if I am invisible

The moon shines

You have no other choice then to admit that I am real

To see the love in my eyes

To see the sadness that sometimes you bring

To see the future that we could have had

To see me for what I have become

A possibility that never reach its peak 

A promise that has been broken

A hearth that at one point was whole

Now I am just a shadow of a broken dream.
