Prolog

“Wind, Earth, Fire and Water take us away from here, protect us from the evil that surrounds us. With no harm to none let my will be done, so mote it be.” Alina chanted echoing true the cave. As the last words left Alina’s mouth the bodies of her sisters began to disappear.

Sophia had been coming to before she had felt her body being lifted away. Know that she was coming too she felt dizzy and lost as she saw the threes that surrounded her. Sophia remembers hearing Alina’s voice, but know that she was train to look around she didn’t see anybody else but the forest threes. Sophia didn’t understand what was going on, as Sophia’s head cleared and the dizziness had passed she started to get up from the ground. It was still light out and the path could be seen clearly, but as Sophia kept walking it became dark and she couldn’t see the path any more. Sophia stopped and looked around and said to the woods, “Where am I?”

Sophia looked around her and found a place to sit. As she took a sit she looked up toward the night sky. The moon had not risen that night, but as Sophia looked around she saw a shadow move and heard the snap of a brand. Sophia looked toward the noise and was blinded by a bright light and thrown farther into the woods.

“The light came from the direction of the lake.” Michael Cardona said as they made their way toward it. Emanuel leading the way with his father and Michael his brother fallowing behind him. Branches braking under Emanuel’s feet as he felt the pull to reach the light.

“Emanuel slowdown you don’t down what is out there.” Emanuel’s father Aaron’s deep voice called out as he tried to keep up with Emanuel as he tried to get to the lake.

There was something within Emanuel that keep pushing him to get to the lake faster making him forget that his father and brother where fallowing right behind him and that although they were in the woods that surrounded their home the raveling clans sometimes pass those boundaries train to cause trouble. The moon had not come out but it was okay Emanuel didn’t need the light he had his night vision. He had grown up in the Montana Mountains and knew the paths pretty well so even is his vision had been missing for any reason he could still fine his way.

Emanuel broke into the clearing and the first thing that cached his attention was the body that laid between the water and the dry earth. Emanuel was so focus on the creature that was before him that he didn’t notice that his brother and father had finally catches up to him.

“Who is that?” Michael asked as he stood behind Emanuel.

Aaron was moving around Emanuel to get to the body, but before Aaron got past Emanuel his hand shot out stopping him. “What do you think you are doing?” Emanuel asked as he change his position and moved in front of the body in the ground to protect it. “Don’t get near her.”

“Emanuel come down.” His father said as he tried to get him to focus on him, while Michael tried to get to the body. “Don’t you see that she need help?”

“I will give it to her but I need you both to move back. So Michael I suggest that you start to move back if you don’t want to end up with a broken arm.” Emanuel said as he looked over toward his brother while still keeping an eye on his father.
