Your Poisoned LifestyleA Poem by letterdameWas presented as a Poetry SlamI lost you to habituation, addiction and self head inflation Ziplocked to bedrooms with heirlumes and shot pipe contradictions Aint no friendship or harship if your empty of feeling Hot flashing your body, staring up at the ceiling We be rolling up a stutter, a spatter with mad hatter Claiming it's "legit" with some boistrous laughter Though actually dismanteling the voice of 4 fathers Ridingg town bikes, pointing out - “ Look what I taught her!” A******s its all down to the flower The tower of power Makes you fools often scour The tick of 12th hour You be claiming you’ll plow her But your moves are so sour Turning her to a vower A vower of self distruction Bad friend girl, huntman All night jerkin The minds of our frontman The thoughts of our love friend The strength of our union Of friendship. faith. unity. assurance. conviction But they be out to go plow her Her tower of drunker An angler hacker Of the happiness and bliss that never surrounds her But girl, you turn ME to a vower A vower to: Think twice on your smirk , your knee-jerk brain work That seems to crumble when in the presence of the framework The stab of the dirky dirk Your confidante: a real f*****g piece of work. Gotta challenge the head stem, the mayhem and skip to the beat Chirping up from the bedpan , pouring s**t on the sheets. S**t of the game, its lame and its been engrained in the mundain freeway of girl/boy terrain. And then you stick up the reigns Following stories passed along with a filter - mundain Your so f*****g unique It’s a comment you freak It’s a compliment , no judgement or treatment, no clique But you wouldn’t know that with your heads in the clouds Give a throwback, envelope in denial Cause that is your vile your poisoned lifestyle. © 2014 letterdame |
