On RepeatA Poem by Dance with LettersIt is about a love that a girl couldn't let go of. No matter how many times she gets struck in the heart; feeling oozing pain over and over again, she still holds onto this love. It’s like a cycle that rolls. Over and over, she falls. Although it hurts, she crawls. Stumbling behind those walls.
First, she feels happy. Smiling, feeling lucky. Like an idiot, she feels funny. For the love that’s worthy.
Second, she feels sad. A feeling that is bad. “Gloomy,” her heart said. She doesn’t know; couldn’t understand.
Third, she feels hurt. A feeling that could be worst. A hurting heart that’s gonna burst. Pieces feel like they’ve been burnt.
Fourth, she feels fine. She stood up on the starting line. Trying to walk straight ahead. Acting like nothing happened.
Fifth, she feels mad. After all of these she had, feeling so stupid, she’s mad. Asking, “Am I that bad?”
Lastly, she’s tired. Going in circles; non-stop. Falling over, trying to stop. Broken, she just couldn’t stand. © 2020 Dance with LettersAuthor's Note
