Winters Nearing

Winters Nearing

A Poem by letroit

Just some lyrics I wrote. https://soundcloud.com/letroit

"
Sitting in this lonely room.
Trying to find the right tune to catch the moment.
Outside the window the world looks cold and grey.
The cars roll by and no one gives a damn.

The leaves have gone.
The trees are bare.
The birds fly south.
Cause winters nearing.

Sitting in this lonely park.
Watching the children play.
Maybe I'll see them again, maybe I won't.
Time rolls by and I'm alone.
Got nothing here but my old soul.

The leaves have gone.
The trees are bare.
The birds fly south.
Cause winters nearing.
