shameA Poem by turpentine kissesTo do with being used while you still love the person, a feeling I know all too well
Straps fumbled and rolled down,
Skin on skin Lips to my neck hot air exhaled in Skirt pulled up You go in This is love isnt it? Pace rushed Kisses that smother They're on their way back The text reads, from your mother Zipper up, Buttons a mess fingers trembling against my chest This is love isn't it? Out the door Shut away, noone must know I'm not ready, you say My thighs ache Warmth trickling down as I walk alone Talk later you say So I wait. But your word is never kept, days pass Then you text My body used I know but when I still love you I can't let you go Its my only assurance of seeing you again Yet, love, I do not know where that went © 2013 turpentine kisses |
