Constant Requests

In the end, everyone is a dreamer. That's what I like to believe, anyways.

 Everyone dreams of someone to talk to 

They dream of someone who understands their pain

Because no one wants to be alone 

No one wants to go through it without a body to lean on

Everyone dreams of someone to connect to

They dream of a bond they can depend on

Because no one can do it alone

No one has the strength to always hold themselves up

Until they stop dreaming 

They stop wishing for that someone

Because eventually, they find the person in their dreams

And they stand up straighter than they ever have 

I stopped dreaming last night

What's this poem actually saying I got to understand just as I finished reading it....
I believe if a person is in need of someone and if that someone remains away from him/her ......two things are mostly possible to happen.....either he/she breaks down nor stands up straight!!
