Going unnoticed can be more trying than even the unnoticed realize.

I added a post on Instagram

One only you would understand

Only you would know I need someone

But you never saw it

Everyone liked it, a few commented

But you never saw it

I checked my phone every minute

Until I just stopped texting you entirely

But you never saw it

I stayed up all night

Pouring everything into my notebook

But the pain only got worse

And you never saw it

I threw hints everywhere

Only things you would understand

And you never saw it

I texted you in honesty

My last option

It was never seen

So I told you I was done

Everything destroyed 

I had nothing left

You were my last anything

But you never saw it
