The Time TravellerA Poem by Eponine is my Spirit AnimalJust a time traveller.I have seen so much. The crumbling of societies, The deaths of millions, The destruction of hope. I saw the Titanic sink, The towers fall, The innocent slaughtered Yet I can do nothing. I am the silent watchman. Knowing and quiet Unable to interfere. I take comfort in the quiet things The laughter of a baby The ringing of bells The silent moments in the middle of the night. No one said it would be easy I am the master of time The associate of silence I know my destruction; I have seen it first. I am the Time Traveller, and I know how it will all end. © 2015 Eponine is my Spirit AnimalAuthor's Note
