Sleepwalking

Sleepwalking

A Poem by Marc

Lights are out
In this lonely room
The sound of garden state
Ringing in my ears
Darkness surrounds
The sleepless slumber
Warm almond milk
To ease the pain
Of weary eyes
And tired feet
Exhausted
Yet still awake
Heavy eyed
Memorized
By thoughts of
Tohmaytohs
Lavender
And
Eggplants
Co-growing across
An ocean of mountains
Separated
By a river of time
A whisper in the dark
As sleep walks near
Good night .... Good night
