Peach Melba Dreams

Peach Melba Dreams

A Poem by peterelbee
"

Flower-child utopian dream

"

Peach Melba dreams of Utopia

Strung with daisy-chains

Bountiful serenity

Where Flower Children frolic

Barefoot cherubs shrill at play

Elfin mischief and cheeky smiles

Wind-chime mantras of inner peace

Incense joyrides the gentle breeze

Peach Melba dreams of Utopia

Strung with daisy-chains

Mischief Cherub Eden

Where Flower Children frolic

Lull of a graceful river

Bathing supple birthday suits

Eroding jagged rock to stepping stones

Hastening a rapid commune

Peach Melba dreams of Utopia

Strung with daisy-chains

River bathing shiatsu

Where Flower Children frolic

A bearded guru strums a cetar

Croons hallucinations

Of psychedelic nightingales

That twitter quaint sweet-nothings.

Peach Melba dreams of Utopia

Strung with daisy-chains

Bountiful serenity

Where Flower Children frolic
