Miguel (a short i) "Tchuba"

A Poem by Lepadah

Miguel my brother

my black brother

miguel pinero

short on eyes

far sighted brother

short of wit

living death in a dreg world

of the dying & the dead

on the last A train

from hell / yr

salvation will wear

yellow ribbons commemorating yr cowardliness

too afraid to live / you wont/

fear spilling out of yr

infectious pores & venom

filled hands unbalance on yr falling frail hispanic body my brother yr visions

shd be so large / but you

are dying on pages of

the village voice another

spectical for albatross

worlds to laugh at / fool

n****r / & when you die

you will be remembered like

lady day & year bird / but

they laugh at yr laughter

today/ while you live/

1 love Lepadah

Tchuba 4 ever yr words are still w/me brother.
