Day

Day

A Poem by lenamari

The day once yawned,
and it let all go.

A day once stormed,
and it let the music play.

The night,
she danced,
all around.

Look see the sky,
the endless blue.

Go shape the clay,
around the morning.

And now we die,
we sing everywhere.

The plants,
they rise,
from the ground.

Look see,
the lights,
the endless summer skies.

this was a cute little poem, it had really relaxing imagery.

my favorite line was, "and now we die, we sing everywhere"

the lack of any ryhming wasn't an issue at all, in fact i think it
helped to make the writing better because it seemed more
genuine.
