enter the darkness

enter the darkness

A Poem by lemoyne
"

a poem in the making.

"
head pounding, i sit alone
my bed so warm, so soft
incense infested domain, i lay prone
as i have trouble holding my head aloft

enter the darkness-
for the light is seeping away
embrace the darkness-
for there isn't much to say

i'm merely a boy,
a boy that plays his card
friendships come easy
yet trust comes hard

enter the darkness-
don't bother to knock
just walk through the door,
[heart hard as a rock]

exit the darkness-
no longer needed here.
goodbye, my long ago friend,
for light has begun to appear

About
I write poetry here and there. I enjoy sitting in internet coffee houses. I play the drums. I play the djembe. I'm not like most people, but then again, who is? more..
