I live in a world...A Poem by Lemontinea discription of the world we all live inI live in a world... Where children spend their days playing on the lawn, dogs chase their tails, and cats chase toy mice. Where teenagers tap out messages onto mindless screens, hoping to get a laugh, from someone they can't see. And adults go to jobs, where they teach, market, or learn anything possible, and are constantly striving to better themselves.
A world that will always last forever.
I live in a world of comfort.
I live in a world... Where children are hurt by the ones they trust, dogs are abondened on the roadside, and cats scavenge for their meals. Where teenagers hide their faces in school hallways, afraid of the laughes and jokes, that follow their every mistake. And adults starve on the streets, or hide in their homes from the hate, directed at aspects of themselves they can't change.
A world that's end is always just around the corner.
I live in a world of fear.
I live in a world... Where neglected children can be adopted from almost anywhere, dogs and cats are taken into humane shelters, or new homes. Where teenagers can get involved in groups, that help them find who they truly are, and build lasting friendships. Adults voulenteer, to help those less fortunate, or who have been prosicuted for nothing.
A world that realizes it's still just beginning.
I live in a world of hope.
