The word is not enough to soothe my heart

But hardened it to just waste your might

This world is treacherous to mold me hard

even your caress cannot warm the night

Oh love! why can't I see you?

In this brightest sky of night you are hiding

The wind blows and I cannot feel you

Oh love take me back I plead.

The first stanza stumble as its read aloud... but it does build and express the thoughts. The last stanza... wields the sharp edge.
