Alone in the Dark

I was all alone in the dark

Longing for someone to get me out,

Someone who will lend a hand to grasps,

A hand to rest for a while.

 

I was all alone in the dark

Nobody to share my griefs, to wipe my tears,

Nobody dare to ease my fears and pains,

Nobody cares to listen for my anguish.

 

I was all alone in the dark

Longing for a way out,

a light to lighten my life

To leave the dark alone who ruined my life.

A very sorrowful poem indeed. There is that little hope in the line:
"A hand to rest for awhile"
Seems as you know where that hand is but just can't reach it..can feel the disappointment in that action as well from as your poem continues with out having caught the hand (the light) Nice poem :)
