The End of Us

is this the end of you and me? 

when we stood at the crossroad 

with no words to say 

i knew in my heart this is it. 

 

you hugged me so tight 

i could hardly breathe 

kissed me passionately 

but never said anything. 

 

you held my hands close to your heart 

and felt every beat deep inside. 

my eyes cried like a river 

but never wiped as you always do.
