YOU STILL LOVE ME

You gave back the joy in my heart 

and turned the darkness into light. 

the road was rough and life was tough 

but You carried me through like a babe. 

 

in my weakness You gave me courage, 

enough to devour the enemies at my feet. 

like a warrior, You shielded me with great armor, 

and prepares me for the battlefield. 

 

in my every battle You are there to witness, 

to some i lost and to some i wins. 

and no matter how i came out from it, 

You still loved me the same way....

we all have that someone in our life who no matter what is our backbone and the one that we lean on when in trouble, whether it be a family member a friend or something spiritual, and I think that this poem portrays that beautifully.
