Hello February

Yesterday when I closed that door
I turned my back and made a choice
No tears, i chose not to cry
No pain, i chose to hide

Like yesterdays when i walk away
I took all the memories to fade
Scattered them in the field like grains
No rain, I forced the sky not to drain

Many yesterdays and moonless skies
Sunless days and lonely nights

I love this poem so much; there is such a sense of sadness and strength throughout. The second stanza just grabs me and I enjoy the image of scattering memories "in the field like grain/No rain, I forced the sky not to drain." Great job!
