Shadow of A Stranger

This is the dream i used to see in my sleep
a beautiful shining speck from the dust of dawn
From darkness he emerges with armor of a great soldier
a warrior from ancient wars

He could be the shadow looming in my dreams
a lifeless darkness hiding its own shadow
I opened my eyes to see him real
only to find him gone with the wind

The sky roars in thunder
slashing the darkness with lightning
Trembling the world with each cry
sweeping each echo of ancient sigh

And there in the middle of nowhere
a shadow of a man on his knees
With arms open wide begging the heavens
to open its gate.

Even great soldiers fall to the pain of life and need peace. Hard for men who have killed to find peace and heaven again. A powerful dreams. Create a very good vision. A strong ending to a outstanding poem.
