Simplicity

Simplicity

A Poem by LeGingersnap

Her eyes ring with a simple uncertainty of the days that lye ahead. Ignoring the audible voice that drowns her sanity, she melts back behind the bound sheets that mute her failure. Her eyes glisten with salt after her reality is only silenced for a season. This is who she is, a failure it seems, yet again. A disappointment only to herself, she cares for no others input as her mind wonders away almost on cue. Tangled in a web of dreams and confusion the thought vanishes and she finally sleeps in peace for a time.

She will awaken to face tomorrow with a new perspective, a hope for perfection.
