it is certain that once you are in love
That love can chose to stop at any given time

This certainty, this fact, means that peace is never really concrete

Doubt is always at your door
In your closet
Under your bed
Sleeping beside you

It is decaying your mind
Ruining your spirit
Draining every ounce of determination you have
Feeding that monster inside of you that longs to take your worth and diminish it

It is there, and you may have never realized it
But you know it
