Chains in the truth

Chains in the truth

A Poem by LeGingersnap

Complete in a incomplete world
Finished at the edge of jealousy
Refined at the moment of acceptance

Me, the string of uncertainty
Rambling and scrambling at the sounds of your lies

Believing what I once never believed
Knowing failure
Breathing failure
Being failure

This isn't me
I knew security once
I embraced it
I cherished it
Then I let it go, realizing the fallacy in such sanity

Now this is me, enlightened and miserable

The truth isn't free
It is chains
