Red Willow

Red Willow

A Poem by Annabeth

Do you remember The Red Willow?
Where birds sang and squirrels burrowed.
The Red Willow, where horses neighed and love never swung
Do you remember The Red Willow?
Where we met, that calm summer day
When the leaves rustled, the grass went green.
Do you remember The Red Willow?
Where love never swung
Where we kissed that cool summer day
Do you remember The Red Willow?
Where the wind sang and love never burrowed
You loved me and I loved you, under the Red Willow.
