Faith Through QuestionsA Poem by sunflowerpaletteI wrote this one long time ago.Faith through question
Why is it hard to count the leaves of a tree? Or count the stars above us, plus the one we cannot even see? Why is it hard to count the rain that drops? Or follow a person who never stops?
Why is it hard to flee? To have freedom from someone who never lends an ear? Why is it hard to choose from sun and snow? Even the Mother Nature's wrath that we cannot control?
Why do we still pursue something that is wrong? Or say to someone how they can never be alone? Why is it hard to distinct a friend from a fiend? Or cast sorrows to them?
Why can we never understand the world? Why can we never see a poor single soul? Why can we not hear the cries from their pain? Or help them that what happened will never refrain?
Why is it hard for us to not compete? Was it hard for us to submit with peace? Is it really hard to borrow love and welfare from someone who has the power that lies on them?
Why can't we go through the sea's depth and learn that the world is round? Maybe that's the reason why we can never found ourselves? Much to my dismay, found Him that lives on our heart and head
Why do we believe in Him? Why do we believe on someone who can never be seen? The one who gave out millions of lives every year Though, He still takes out lives from us, and sometimes we grieve though it always pass
Maybe that is the real secret of life, Be mysterious but still be wise. Again, I am here waiting for myself to die and be reborn, do something we never know we've already done before
But why do we still need to breathe, need to live when all we always see around us are tears? Tears and fears from all the people we've never met, but with a second can make our hearts melt
I just still wish that the world will never regret what it is doing to itself, but before it is too late, I wanted to know, why do we still find ourselves bowing our heads and praying to Him? © 2015 sunflowerpalette |
