Miles Of Hush

Miles Of Hush

A Poem by Leesah

I, and door and you

silent guesses

of dead words

as cracked charoal

smoking

signing circles

it's salamander sway

the delicate white ribbon

twists on into

transparencies...

tongues bridled

held the breath

tick and tick and tick

suspended thought

of reaching..just a thought

too gone

lost second

our journey

from there,wood and here

long

miles of uncertain

miles of hush

walls and chairs

stare as audiences

last advocates

lone neutral countries...

surrender who first

surrender, who

Whoa...a bit of a trippy read but man! It makes you think. I like that in a piece. A lot of the imagery you create is wild.
>>>signing circles / it's salamander sway / the delicate white ribbon / twists on into / transparencies...
