What I shouldn't think

What I shouldn't think

A Poem by Leeci
"

Thoughts of want, sometimes do work out. Even if they aren't supposed to. (Picture of me and an ex)

"

1.

It's what isn't said that I want to speak

Your gentle touch across my cheek

Such feeling in one simple brush

Eyes that always look but never touch

Your with me in my dreams

Yet I wake up with this space next to me

Fill this hole in my heart

I'm giving up for better things

Your hand in my hair

I hear him say that this isn't fair

I close my eyes

Your lips on mine

I've stopped worrying about the world around me

But only when your near me

Only when your near me.

2.

I keep writing the same song over and over again

Thought of you stirring around in my head

Your shirt on my back, in your hands my heart

I just hope the choices we made are smart

Well laugh and sing, dance and cry

Skip curfews, make out a couple of times?

Talks of futures of hopes and dreams

I know in the end were thinking the same things

You are me and I am you

My only wish is to fall asleep in your arms

Sing your songs of love to me

You might be the one I really need
