Close Strangers

Close Strangers

A Poem by LeeBabyRnR
"

How well do we know those that we keep close?

"

Allocate the oxygen to the saints

Only to suffocate the sinners

To whom does this determination fall upon

Could we bow to the tyrants that suppress

Or the silent martyrs that equate to much more

The faces switch and roles flip

An inception of confusion when the wolves become sheep

And the sheep become a bottomless pit of bones

We never know then who to turn to

How will the dipoles coagulate

And true identities appear

Then hell will break loose

Sleeping with a stranger, and loving the enemy

Bamboozled and fooled into a glorious facade

The one you knew is the one you don't know

And the epidemic rages rapaciously

And as a whole it comes to light

Eternity has been shared with an outsider
