A Poem by lee
"

a poem about nature and its beauty and power

"
When a Jew’s life is over,
There’s a tree planted in their honor.
One life ends,
Another begins.
I’m thinking of Tu Bishvat,
A day to celebrate the millions of
Lives we don’t see.
If a ladybug tells you his
Secrets,
You better listen.
I’m thinking of San Diego,
My home,
The beaches flooding with
Life.
I’m thinking of the lives lost
Every time you take a step
Towards your own.
Look at the light.
Look at the light,
But not directly.
Look at it and worship it as
The Aztec people did.
As ancient Egyptians and Greeks did.
Because there is
Nothing
To fear.
It’s something
To
Care
For us,
Something to
Save us.
